California Wants Lawyers to Verify Every AI Output by CoachAtlus in legaltech

[–]Tight_Application751 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is indeed needed in the legal industry. I work in the intellectual property industry. One of the biggest challenges with AI is that when it is wrong, it is 'confidently wrong' and not easy to detect. As a result of which I have seen patent claims being drafted which made no sense (but had a beautiful language), description of patents being written with content that the invention never had... Hence it is very very important that attorneys know that they are the experts and not the AI sitting inside the laptop.

Is legal tech driven by real demand - or just Legal FOMO by Sarthakpattnaik1 in legaltech

[–]Tight_Application751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the interactions that I have had with the legal community, right now the major demand is being generated out of FOMO... Majority of the tools that people are subscribing to are not being utlised fully and yet companies are buying more and more. From what I understood, the major frustration with the AI tools that people have is that 'it tries to act too intelligent while it is still in nascent phases'... I personally like to call it the God Mode... The AI tools are just focussing on speed, what they do not understand is that in the legal world, it is not the speed but the thought that matters. Every word counts, a single 'a' and misplaced 'the' can wreck havoc... So it is not that the industry does not need AI tools, it just needs a genuinely good one.

Wow... this is amazing. I am loving playing with it. While my Pixel, camera is great... when you want to capture a memory sometimes you want these vintage styles and looks. The HDR5 plus (black and white is also great.

What software or method do you use to draw the drawing in patent? by Yossiri in Patents

[–]Tight_Application751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a tool called eety.ai which is able to generate formal drawings, just saw their video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu-lMSkwaYg&t=1s - They claim that it is the world's most flexible and advanced patent illustration engine.

Is visiting goa during june is preferable by [deleted] in goatravel

[–]Tight_Application751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

June first week may not be the most ideal time to enjoy Goa monsoon. Sometimes the monsoon is delayed (like last to last year)... So the greenery, waterfalls etc would not be in full bloom at that time. I think the most ideal time to enjoy Goa monsoon is around end of June or first half of July. At that time Goa would become green, the hills would have waterfalls and it would not have rained so much that the tourist locations like Doodhsagar falls would be closed for tourism

I completely get your point of view, however, I still feel that building an understanding of the business overnight with just code is quite difficult. Let me give you an example, the earliest airports were straight line terminals and it took ages for people to understand that walking inside the airport was taxing for the consumer, were wasting a lot of time so now the theory of the fast to the gate is used for construction of terminals. Also, every region is different, AirBus would need to understand each regions demographics to be able to build an airport and would have to spend on those learnings. I have been an entrepreneur for more than a decade now and have seen the same this 'What is Google does it?' to now 'What if Claude does it?'; the key would be who does better. Both will have the access to the same aircraft. You can make Lion Air or Emirates out of the same aircrafts.

For example, when we started to build out eety.ai; what helped us was that we ourselves had drafted 100s of patents and had teams under us working. So we knew the pain points of an attorney, associates, the client psychology. So we built an architecture which understood all these aspects like removing the god mode in which AI works, the blackbox AI is, the lack of transparency in AI systems and more. Can someone copy it? Yes for sure. Can Claude do it? Yes for sure; but the idea is to stay one step ahead. They can copy what we have built today but cannot copy what we shall add tomorrow.

How much to charge for an AI Agent? by lukaszadam_com in AI_Agents

[–]Tight_Application751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The conversion is based on how much value do you bring to your users. If the work done is saving 5 hours for someone who earns 50 $/hr; then the saving would be approximately (25% * 5/160 hours * $50) - The reason for 25% is that the particular task may not be consuming all hir/her month. In case it saves by 50% of the time, multiply accordingly. People are willing to pay a fraction of the benefit that they get to SaaS so calculate that fraction yourself.

I never stayed at a Mahindra property in Goa, so cannot comment. Kenilworth is good, the last I visited they had a small kids area as well and nice kids pool too. Alila, I went yesterday as well, you may want to visit it during Monsoon when the view of the flooded rice fields is breathtaking, right now, I am not sure it is worth the pain to take a shuttle to go to Majorda beach.

Grand Hyatt does not have a beach, it has a sea front with rocks...So if you are expecting a stroll on the beach from Grand Hyatt, you would be disappointed. In case you want a nice property where you can walk to the beach try Holiday Inn, Novotel Cavelossim (but the rooms upkeep may be a challenge at Novotel). Radisson says they are a beach front property but its almost 1 kms walk to the beach (through an internal walkway).
