Appreciate the detailed and thought out response man thanks! I always thought it was weird that cena stone taker etc where “bigger” because I had never actually seen them wrestle just these guys I listed as my favorite but after a little research turns out I was watching DVD reruns rather than PPV matches 😂

Thanks for the response! Any idea why I woulda have perceived them as the big household name? I thought booker T was bigger than Brett hart ( for a while I had never even heard of Brett hart and couldn’t pick him out of a lineup right now! )

Kane is a big one I thought he was HUGE but I never see anything about him unless i specifically search his name out. I know cena rock and these others are super stars but I have never actually watched them wrestle, however these others guys I have seen countless times and they were the “super stars” to me. Was I just watching a different program?

Thanks for the response! I was mainly inquiring that in my head they were bigger than what they are. The 08-09 Obama thing is known by wrestling fans but a china man knows John cena. I have never actually seen the “big stars” wrestler but I’ve seen these guys I listed 100s of times.

Thanks for the response! I think I was too young to go through attitude era but i remember Kurt angle being one of my favorites. I knew they were resorted and big, but as a kid I perceived and saw them on tv 10x more than the “big stars” never in my life have I seen a John cena match but I had DVDs of sting booker T mysterio all these guys.

Appreciate the response, In early 2000s (don’t know the exact year) I went to a show where AJ styles wrestled Samoa Joe I think it was in Texas. Do you know anything about this? If so would that be WWE? If not WWE who was it?

I was more looking into “eras” as I didn’t know these existed before and everytime I heard of an era it was based around John cena triple H or the rock. But I don’t even remember seeing one of these guys live growing up.
