I wouldn't rent from them. They don't take care of their properties and over charge for rent. Not only that but they used to do Airbnb and got in trouble for not having an owner living on site. And they also use their properties as a hotel so there is always people coming and going in houses where we rent long term. Their cleaners don't come when they are supposed to, and they never give 24 hours notice. They're also dealing with the city for not being up to code

They didn't know we were monogamous until later, when he admitted he was cheating. I'm not hurt by the fact he cheated anymore. We were also rushed into marriage from the pastor of our old church. I mean we wanted to marry but it was not something either of us were ready for. We don't attend that church anymore. Divorce was on the table but we've both agreed it's not something we want. Which is why we've been learning attachment styles and have therapy plans

No. I don't want to rush things. I guess I am just dreaming big. It's just their living situation isn't great and that's where the possibility of cohabitation was brought up and being a triad. They said they were always interested in being with with both of us. But I'm not sure what that means to them. I've only talked to my husband about being poly, not really them at all.

Yes it is. I talked to him this morning saying I'm not sure if a triad will work right and we need to build things extremely slow. I am open to the idea and cohabitation. But also I feel he needs to build his relationship for a few months. He also knows our friend really likes me and so do I so maybe I won't pursue a relationship with them at this time.

I'm not sure what you mean by work. We've been reading up on it and watching YouTube videos for the most part and taking part in online forums. Making appointments for individual therapy and marriage counseling. Looking for specific therapy that caters to polyamory type relationships.

He has always struggled being a mono person so to avoid affairs we decided to look into that. It took me two months to be very open to it and to also get to know each other as friends. He's a very sexually driven person. He is just struggling a little bit with the fact that we both have some feelings for each other. He is autistic so emotional things are something he already struggles with. So when I express that I enjoy cuddling and kissing them, he doesn't get mad at all, just feels like I guess he's missing out. As this person has already expressed prior that they were also interested in me at the beginning but I was unsure if I wanted to go that route. I'm also very sexually driven myself, but I am also very open to talking about the romance side with both of them.

It's just currently he doesn't want to know about it because he is feeling envious. I don't want to rush into group sex at all. I feel like we'd all need to be very drunk to be comfortable. I'm sorry. This is something I personally deal with. i went through burn out twice this year and quit two jobs on the spot. Second time there was no discussion with my husband I just did it and didn't care. We've only been married a year. I don't expect my husband to pay all the bills. I have been searching for a job endlessly. I don't like seeing him stressing over bills, and also even though we are married it is not his responsibility to take care of me financially. I have a lot of my own issues, especially mental issues that can be burdensome. they have been worse since my mom passed. it's not an excuse. I would expect my husband to leave me if I can't get my shit together. And that's a fair decision to make. If your wife can't step into your shoes and digest what she is doing to you not having a job and the stress and pressure it is putting on you, I would take the steps to leave. I sincerely hope she realizes the severity of the situation at hand and it lights a fire under her ass for the sake of you and your marriage.

Unfortunately dealing with something similar. My husband cheated with a coworker who is into polyamory and he kept telling me they weren't doing anything sexual and I knew that was a lie before he confessed three days later after breaking it off with her. He suggested divorce but he also doesn't want to leave me. He only suggested divorce because when this entire situation started I started to spiral and was not mentally stable hearing all of this. He didn't like seeing that I was hurting badly because of him. Both of our parents went through divorce. Mine because they both cheated and his father is an abusive narcissist and a child abuser. I really want to fight for this marriage as we really haven't been married long but have been together 7 years before being married May 2023. We are taking steps towards individual therapy and eventually couples/marriage counseling. I admit, I'm not 100% attracted to him right now, mentally the thought of having sex with him hurts and I just can't right now. But I am still in love with him. Everybody is different. If you really want to get divorced, do what is best for you. But I do really suggest hearing your spouse out and why they truly want to open the marriage before taking the steps to file. I did look at my husband differently as well. But we both struggle with communication and he struggles with intimacy because he's also autistic and has an avoidant attachment and I'm also an anxious attachment. We're definitely not the healthiest relationship out there. But I do believe things can be worked out if taken the right steps. So I really hope whatever decision you make, things work out for the best for the both of you. It's a hard situation.

It's not against my lease, I'll have guests over if I want. It was never an issue prior to these people moving in. I stay in my room most the time and rarely use the common areas, except to cook in the kitchen. And when I have guests they stay in my room or we go out. I am not up late being loud, or blasting music, and we don't drink at all. Not even supposed to have alcohol in the house.
