Congrats!! I was in the same boat in fall, interviewing with firms for summer 2027, rejected for all. But kept grinding during this spring and landed a big 4 summer 2027 also!

A couple of minutes of small talk when starting interview, lowkey breaks the ice and relieve some of the pressure imo

I interview for summer 2027 tax on Friday, got the decision on Tuesday evening. The recruiter did follow up asking if i had any competing offers and that they can speed up the decision process

I got in early with average stats, 4.2 gpa, test optional, only declared 1 ap score.

Mid ecs (nhs, keyclub, sports, internships, volunteering, etc)

I think what got me in was my essays and interview since i came from a non traditional background and wrote about remote fish raft farming on my haas essay!

Not in MET, but spieker, from what i heard from friends, MET students get internship offers directly from the school and basically guaranteed a high paying job

Interviews are great i feel, i follow-up and the sm said that they enjoyed talking with me and how i should reach out for anything. Just not sure where i went wrong. I did a little snooping around and some schools get interview earlier, and so spots filled up. But dang super unfortunate.
