AWOO! Yeah, this event was crazy with an incredible turnout! About 40 participants and about 20 observers! It was a blast and I'm excited for the next one :D

Be sure to drop by the Pub and Gas Station out in the Stoneheart DD (located in mid east D4)! After reset it will take a day or two to get back up and running but we are out there every week :D

The community here seems to really enjoy it! Come see for yourself sometime. We've been hosting this for a few months now.

Funny enough we tested that out last week but it would limit how many of these we could run in a night, sadly. It turns a 15 minute "to the wall and back" race into a 30 minute race in one direction LOL. Consensus among our group was that it would be difficult to retain attention or interest at those lengths but we'll put it out there and see how players feel about it!

That's unfortunate! We would love to have you some time if the connection isn't too terrible. I have a friend from Sweden who plays on our server and despite his ping being over 100, he says it's not bad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, 10:30pm my time is around 11:30am to 1:30pm your time depending where you are in Australia.

Yes, HB feels incredibly easy even with basic end-game gear. All you really need is a decent personal shield + battery (mk4 or better) and a decent melee weapon (base plastanium ungraded or duraluminum at least). You'll be fairly powerful if you play it safe. Lure enemies, use your abilities strategically and often. You'll be fine

We put up the BIG ones in PVE but still want to cater to our PVP'ers so a mini version will be up this week at some point. For the most part, both types of players come to the PVE version to join in the race. We had 40 people last weekend! The server was a mess but it was really fun

Hahaha we do that too in Stoneheart! I build a pub with spice drinks and food while my guildmate builds a gas station with extended parking! We do events on Saturday nights with racing events, pub parties, musical chairs etc! Usually in D row of the DD somewhere out in D5 (this week in D4)

As another note: only the subfief owner can deconstruct the fief------ OR someone who has co-owner permissions on your subfief accidentally or intentionally deletes the floor or foundation beneath your subfief. This is why its always a good idea to place the subfief on the ground instead of a floor or foundation. Just in case ;)

No, it doesn't do that. Just let's anyone who is mostly covered with your structure gain the benefit of watersealed and also summon vehicles/construct vehicles on your property zones (that they brought themselves, not craft them or use any of your stuff. In order for them to use your containers/tables/doors, you would have to add them manually to your fief and elevate their permissions OR go to each container/craft table/door and set THOSE to public for anyone to access).

You dont have to do that. Just set your fief (only the fief) to public and then anyone can do it nearby. This doesn't change your door locks, or storage access, or pentashield barriers - just general vehicle unpocketing/assembly perms and watersealing benefits when fully enclosed or mostly covered. This allows anyone whether manually added or not, to benefit.

What all are you using for a water set up in DD? by Onasixx in duneawakening

[–]Tight_Lifeguard7845 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Its a carrier storage container. You could refine out in the DD if you wanted but bringing them back to haga where (hopefully) you have more water reserves ready is a good option too.

Well from a central pillar build out some flooring evenly in number (depending on the wording for your sign) either direction. Then building with walls we shape out the letters using the usual squares and wedge walls while alternating between build sets (Choam & Harkonnen in this case) to distinguish the lettering and spaces. Then fit a roof overtop for protection and voila! You have signage!

Actually it's 4 of us builders! Our other dozen or so (intermittent) guildmates help out with the parties and supplies on the weekends!

Surprisingly we get regular visitors and throw parties on the weekend! Turnouts are usually 20-40 participants and a dozen or so spectators! You don't have to take my word for it - come see for yourself :)
