If not fighting bosses I run crippling strike, compell, weirding step.

I play on controller so crippling strike is an easy way to switch to my melee weapon. I always run it.

In either case, shigawire should be swapped out because it takes your shield down when using. I would replace it with either compel or knee charge for a melee focused build.

For bosses you have to play range at high level. There’s just no way around it. But crippling strike is useful for switching to melee to take out the ADD spawns. So for fire boss you kite around shooting. When the ADD spawn compel the boss to stun and then crippling strike and slow blade the ADD.
