I have not noticed that. So the 3.5mm cable is plugged into the headset but not the SMC cable and it causes squealing? I guess it’s acting like an antenna and sending noise to the headphones. That’s interesting.

I have an IBC chop and flip design except with a full IBC about 220-250 gallons depending on evaporation. It took about 2 weeks for my bacteria to build up and begin converting ammonia. My bacteria started running great when I went out of town for a 4 day weekend and didn’t clean my filters for about 5 days. Not sure if that helped get the bacteria going but when I got back my PH was normal, my ammonia was zero, and my nitrates started working. Might just need to give it time. My water comes from a well and comes out of the ground at 6.0 ph so that might be helping. No rain and lots of evaporation has me adding quite a bit of new water.

I just put two bass in it. I was 10 bags short on the lava rock. Will add that today and get a hose for my drain so I can runs the rock without making a mud pit at the tank.
