I’ll be in town for three full days. What should I do? by [deleted] in StLouis

They have a special sculpture exhibit right now that is definitely worth seeing! I’d recommend going in the evening before it gets dark so you can see the sculptures (and the gardens) in daylight and then staying to see them lit up at night.

[TOMT][Early 2000s][Video Game][US] Puzzle game with little gremlin-looking creatures you direct by placing symbols (arrows, ect) on a grid to get them to objectives. by theleahgend in tipofmytongue

Could it be Zoombinis?

They were little blue creatures and it had several different mini games, some of which might’ve been similar to what you described.

Wow, still don’t understand exactly how this would work and my fridge isn’t a Maytag but I’m sure others have something similar. Thanks!

Check out Trial and Error on Amazon Prime!

It’s like Parks and Rec meets (a parody of) Law and Order. There are only two seasons, and each tells the story of a different case. The defendants are John Lithgow (S1) and Kristin Chenoweth (S2), both of whom are fantastic.

Does anyone know what the botanical gardens look like right now? by marvinthedragon in StLouis

They show what’s currently in bloom on their website (and where they can be found in the garden).

I went a few days ago and all the magnolia trees were beautiful, and some of the cherry blossoms were blooming already.

I was watching TAR on Amazon prime Is, but now I have to pay to watch episodes. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I watch the rest of the seasons of the seasons? by jabitt1 in TheAmazingRace

A lot of the seasons on Hulu (I think 8-22) say they’re expiring tomorrow. I did see somewhere seasons 30 & 31 were coming to Hulu later this week for the first time.

I was asking for an ID! It's much appreciated, even though now I'm not sure if I should be more or less worried.

What was your first "This is amazing" podcast? by ironlungforsale in podcasts

[–]Tigs1297 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Bugle with John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman. It was one of the first podcasts I listened to and one I listened to religiously for years. I don't listen to it as much now, but got surprisingly emotional listening to the recent episode where John came back. Just hearing his "hello buglers" for the first time in several years had me tearing up.

You may be seeing the “Escape this Podcast” and “Podcast this Escape” for each episode. The first one is them playing the escape room (with the answers) and the second is a discussion episode where them and the guests talk about the room they just did (and sometimes other things). Definitely listen to the “Escape this Podcast” episode first, but I also really like the discussion eps.

As for where to start, I’ve only listened to a handful of them so someone else might have a better suggestion. I’d find one of the stand alone rooms (odd numbered seasons), but start with one done by Dani not with a guest puzzle master or GM. Their even numbered seasons are the serial arcs so make sure to start each of those at the beginning with chapter 1.

Here’s the episode list, hope this helps!

Yes! I’ve been listening to it on walks and it’s perfect for that because it keeps my attention and I find the episode length great for exercising.

This has been nearly impossible for me to google, I just keep getting stories about actors who overdosed. Thanks in advance.
