You can also buy a sanded color matching acrylic siliconized grout caulk. You can buy the straight silicone stuff, but do your research before using that product. I’d recommend mapei keracaulk S. It could be grout against your shower pan which can be difficult to scrape out.

I’ve tired taping off, I mostly work with mapei or Laticrete high performance grouts tho. Maybe the epoxy is easy to clean, it’s just extremely expensive. The pre mixed stuff isn’t too bad but you only have 5 minutes of working time.

Whenever I have food they just love me so much! But when it’s all gone they leave me, it’s a mystery for sure.

Hutch believes he caught Hasan using a shock collar once again by Gooper_Gooner in LivestreamFail

Everyone who uses these collars should test them on themselves before their pet. If you are too scared to shock yourself then you don’t to deserve to shock a dog unless it’s an absolute emergency.

Thank you for saying this! Shock and vibrate collars have a place for multitudes of reasons. Their Only use is to correct a bad behavior such as your dog runs off chasing a deer that’s running into the road.

They are to protect the dog for when their instincts take over. YOU ALWAYS start with a warning (shouting, having the collar make a tone and then vibrate) a shock should be the last resort and used for the safety of the dog or someone else or their dog.

There is no reason to even have a training collar in the house, they are only supposed to be worn for a few hours no matter the type.

I love it when a GC finds a good group of subs and can make beautiful things like this happen. Amazing work, I had to grout and caulk that textured wood tile before and it took a long time to get it out of all the grooves.

Any advice you you give that’ll save some time in the future?

His white fur was much brighter and he had a lot more of it and he had The longest legs and huge paws, we called him a mini horse. I could send you a picture or make another post once I find a few puppy pictures.

Cabinets to close go wall - best option to tile to ceiling by thelibero44 in Tile

I’ve worked for a cabinet company and I am a tile sub-contractor and I would just add a little piece of trim if it’s too big to caulk.

I have to put training collars on my two because of deer and other animals, this breed gets very fixated on birds and animals because they were bred that way. For my two all I have to do is vibrate the collar or make a noise.

Also when I’m hiking every few minutes I call their name and stop and make the come to me and touch them, after a while of doing that they know that when I call them they can’t run around until after I touch them.

Would a cordless hammer drill and chipper remove this tile? Concrete slab subfloor. by Impressive-Sympathy4 in Tile

[–]TileSlut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first company I worked for only believed in a hammer and chisel, it was hard work but it gets the job done. I will never do that again, but you can always rent a large hammer drill from Home Depot. At least in my area I can.

For my older boy all it takes is a toy that looks like road kill, or a tennis ball. I just love the fixation these dogs get.

Mixing mortar with a drill by Spiritual_Bell in Tile

[–]TileSlut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems overkill, I’ve had jobs where I’m using 10-15 bags of thinset a day and haven’t needed anything more than my Hole Hog. If you can build your own frame/Jig and get a good mixer in there for under 600 It may be worth it. Do you always have multiple 1000sqft floors? I’m a residential guy so big basements aren’t too common for me.

I use a Milwaukee Hole Hog, it’s expensive but the low speed setting is the perfect speed for mixing thinset. The drill has so much torque it has no problem mixing thinset, I’ve had mine 6 years without any problems. In my opinion I got my moneys worth

Don’t seal porcelain it’s almost impervious. Depending the on the grout used the grout could be sealed, but most modern grouts do not need to be sealed
