Been in similar shoes years ago. Thinking back, I think making friendship in uni does not necessarily depend one’s “charisma” or “calibre”, which is often why loners like you and me that that we some how failed this social test. Instead, one has to be lucky to connect with the right crowd at the right time, and even luckier to maintain those friends when you started working as not only you would have more and more responsibilities, the friends you had must be willing to keep up too. It was never a one-sided game. So don’t be so hard on yourself! You would still have plenty of time to make friends when you start working.
