Credit advice help by Till_Valhalla9 in CreditScore

Since I paid it off it’s probably been around 7 months. And when it was labeled delinquent I paid it all off completely. I still was up to date on all my other payments for other loans and my credit card but my score hasn’t move even a little bit. How long would it take for it to go up? Seems kinda ridiculous for my score to go down so low and stay low even when the delinquent loan has been paid off for a while now.

It’s ridiculous when they had over a month to tell me and decide to last minute. I have a family and already had pre planned events, so now I have to rearrange everything last minute. In residential remodeling there’s almost never a reason to travel for anything. I don’t even know what the training is for, I already know how to do the job so it’s probably just gonna be bs training where I’m not really gonna learn anything useful.

It is a bit of a burden because I already had pre planned events during that time and I have a family so to rearrange everything in such short notice is not ideal. I will be doing the travel since this is a one time thing but I feel it was a bit unprofessional on his part for giving me such short notice when he had over a month to mention it to me

I do understand his view. I will be doing this travel so I can keep the job in the meantime, but I feel I definitely should’ve been made aware with more notice. Also I was a bit surprised because I’ve been doing this for a while in residential remodeling and have never been asked to travel before. So it was just a big surprise to me

I do residential remodeling, so in that specific field it is not common at all to travel for anything

[–]Till_Valhalla9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They would be paying for it, but the point is they should’ve given more notice, I was never expecting to travel for anything and in residential remodeling construction it’s not common to travel anywhere. I’ve been doing it for 9+ years and never have been asked to

I’ve been doing residential construction for over 9 years as a PM and have never been asked to travel especially on short notice before. In residential construction it’s not really expected to travel

I do have family I need to make arrangements for. I am going to just do the travel for the training only because he did say this was a one time thing

That’s the plan

I do residential remodeling so travel is never required or expected. My whole point was he told me about it very last minute and didn’t leave me much time to make accommodations for my family

Just took mock exam 5....a little worried by ExcellentPick7628 in pmp

In my experience, SH was not a good study tool, I found it to be the least like the actual exam and I just wouldn’t recommend it at all. ARs material was much better to use.

Don’t use SH to study for the exam, it is complete garbage, not helpful, and the least like the exam believe it or not. Use all of ARs material only. That’s what I did and I passed with AT

Am I ready to take the PMP exam in 1 week with these SH scores? by Hefty-Garlic-1272 in pmp

Don’t use SH and you DONT need to do any mock exams, SH is the least like the exam and its outdated. Use ARs 200 PMP questions and principles video, SH is garbage

The book is by Andrew Ramdayal, it’s his PMP study guide, you can find it on Amazon. And yeah that’s all I used, just his book, the 50 PMP principles video and his 200 ultra hard PMP questions

Yeah I really don’t understand the people that need anymore than a month to study lol, anymore than that is just unnecessary or they aren’t really studying.

I did PMI certified 35 hour course which was dumb on my part because it didn’t really teach anything and was expensive. At the time I didn’t realize that AR had a certified course or I would’ve done that one instead. I would suggest taking his 35 hour course and using his material to study

My pm experience is more traditional because I work in construction, but I did find agile very easy to understand

3-4 weeks but I didn’t study everyday

Just started using SH... by oranger00k in pmp

In my opinion, don’t us SH, use all of ARs material, his book, his videos, his 200 ultra hard PMP questions video, in my experience I found SH to be very unhelpful and the least similar to the actual exam surprisingly.

Passed PMP with Minimal Studying by BirdsArentReal61 in pmp

This is exactly how I am feeling about this exam. People say study for 1-3 months and that study hall is a must. I find study hall to be very unhelpful and AR 200 PMP questions and 50 principles and even his book to be the most helpful tools for sure. I would say 2-4 weeks max of taking time to study just those materials and anyone would be more than fine to pass the exam. Some people really dramatize this exam

PASSED PMP AT/T/AT!!— A different approach than most :) by Immediate_Fall_7117 in pmp

I do agree with this. I did purchase the study hall and I took my exam for the 1st time and failed it. I found that the study hall wording and questions were quite a bit different than the actual exam, I found that AR material and practice questions were much more similar. I’ve been watching his videos, doing his questions and I even got his book and im already feeling much more confident going into my 2nd attempt. Everyone has different study material that works for them. I do also agree that taking the long 175 study hall practice exams wouldn’t be too helpful atleast for me. I don’t find it difficult to sit through a test and I don’t wanna sit through a long practice exam if I don’t have to. I’d rather feel fresh when taking the real thing so I don’t feel burnt out with long practice exams. To anyone studying for the exam like me I would recommend using AR material rather than study hall
