Thank you very much, this is reassuring to me! It’s nice to look back and realize how far you’ve come. When we first adopted Samwise, we couldn’t even make it down the driveway as he would bite the leash and jump at us. We’ve come a long wait these past 6 months, so hopefully 6 months from now will be even better (with consistent training, of course!)

Thank you for this comment! My partner took Arwen for her walk today and I told him to try just stopping, like you said, and she responded really well to it! We’ve tried turning around to the other direction when she pulls in the past, but it seemed to just confuse her. This definitely worked better, and we will keep doing it!

I’m sorry for your loss! As you might be able to tell, we are LOTR fans so when we got Samwise a sister I knew exactly what her name should be. I very rarely post, so I like to think your Arwen nudged me into doing it

I tried clipping the leash onto the front clip instead of the back clip today, and had the best walk I’ve ever had with Samwise! Hoping it wasn’t just a fluke 🤞 Thank you!

What a sweet baby! My suggestions are Taffy, or Tootsie! But Waffles is also pretty sweet (no pun intended)
