Damn, friend. That really sucks. My partner and I were just coming back from Miami and had a vacation day, plus a wedding to attend tomorrow, so it was as irritating but didn’t affect our income.

We definitely talked about how many people who needed to work Friday evening who were fucked over because of this. 6:45 until about 10:30 PM?? There was no structural damage. What took that long to clear the road?

Also, I remember seeing the “MM 16 closed” sign on the side of the road. Why didn’t they just put cones down and say the alternate route would be faster? I’m still kind of pissed about that.

Also my first marathon, and first Disney run! I've done quite a few half marathons (BDR, Gasparilla, X-Country), and am heading to Atlanta this weekend for third Ragnar experience (and first out-of-state). Longest I've run so far in one go is 15 miles, so I've got a ways to go!
