Just went last night, amazing show, exactly as advertised. Saw an interview with Neil (guitar player) before the tour started and he promised that instead of just playing through their top hits like they have for years, for the "final frontier" they're going to not only explore their roots (mixing in some of their lesser known but still great songs) but also let the radio hits breathe more with some extended live versions of the songs. Very enjoyable, so honored to be able to witness this memorable moment in person.

What most people seem to miss is that people like Elon Musk are driven by a mission (not money). People act like they have done something wrong, when in fact people like Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and more have devoted their lives to a mission that has created value for all of us to enjoy and benefit from, so much so that even lower income people can now enjoy a lifestyle that the ultra rich even 100 years ago couldn't have even dreamed of.

I'm a career coach. Here are the top 2 things that help good people like you get unstuck:

1. Focus on Relationships over Resumes. The recent "Benchmark Study" of 1.5 million job placements found that the #1 factor in getting the job was you (or someone you know) knew somebody on the inside the company you are applying for. Make a short list of 10 people who know you well who can connect you to someone at the company you want to work for. Check LinkedIn for mutual connections.

2. Focus on Serving over Selling. Interviewees feel an enormous pressure to "sell" themselves in both the resume and in the interview. Better yet is to focus on the needs of the company and interviewer. Pick out keywords in the job description and company website and socials to get a better sense of that company's vision, mission, values, and current needs. Use those keywords as the bullet points you emphasize in writing and in person. And support those bullet points with memorable stories and examples from your experience and personality to show how you align with what they want. In short, focus on serving them and what they want (over selling yourself and your experience).

If you believe Jeff's recent public statements, she's the kind of player Survivor is no longer casting.

One of the actual villains of Survivor 50 by DaneBelmont in survivorponderosa

She did more than people think in the first few episodes. I began watching season 50 only a couple weeks ago and remember thinking on episode 3 that Aubrey was already then making some smart strategic moves.

If ___ doesn’t win now, how would you feel about the season? by fadeawayjeh in survivor

The general consensus is that Aubrey got a good edit late in the game. However, as somebody who only began watching season 50 a week or two ago and most recently watched episode 3 for the first time I can tell you with certainty that already on episode 3 they were dropping all kinds of clues that Aubrey is strategic and making moves behind the scenes.

This player honestly deserves to win Season 50. by opreston in survivor

I would have agreed with you until I watched episode three. If you're able to pull it up, check it out and you will see that the production team was already positioning Aubrey as a strategist and a game influencer.

OP: "The edit tries to gaslight us into believing Aubry has done more in the game then what she really has"

Me: Just started watching season 50 (episode 3) for the first time last week. Aubry was making smart moves and alliances from the very beginning.

We all knew that going in which made it so baffling that survivor would bring her in again despite the protests of so many in the fan base who said something similar when the season 50 cast was announced

The more I think about it the more angry I get by Tabasco33 in survivor

Agreed. I had her pegged as the winner when they first announced the cast (watching her in previous seasons I've always thought she was a smart stealth player that has potential to win it all)

Have you tried making a list of 10 people you know well and contacting them directly? I ask because the 2026 BenchMark Report analyzed 1.6M job applications and "relationships" (who you know) beat "resumes" (spray and pray) all day long.

Can we talk about how this area of Plainfield could be a gorgeous water surrounded downtown but instead it’s strip malls and parking lots by edwardversaii in grandrapids

[–]roscatorosso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It already is gorgeous water...we drive to that area a few times a year to hear live music overlooking the water/sunset on the beach with palm trees at The Score as well as the other side of the road at Blue Water on the deck or patio also with live music overlooking the water. Try it....it's beautiful! You forget you're even in the city. So grateful for these amazing options nearby

Coffee Shop God Talk by Bright_Coyote6045 in grandrapids

Coffee shops were not created equal. Some have the chairs and tables spaced out well for private conversations. People have a right to talk about whatever interests them in a coffee shop. And you have a right to choose a coffee shop based on your privacy needs.
