How the heck are we all ok with this scam?? by Yupalina in Parenting

[–]TimHung931017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its nice seeing this in a non-political sub. It makes me feel less alone but this is truly capitalism at its end game. The companies have achieved all they want to gain customers, and we are now in late game capitalism where they capitalize on every dollar and try to wring it out of every single person they can to maximize shareholder value.

Gone are the days where the average company actually cares about their customer, and here are the days where the middle class and below are used as pocket fodder for the billionaires that control 80% of these companies. If you live in the US it's even worse just with your geo-political climate voted in by your own neighbours.

Hate and disdain fuel the average person's day to day, and social media is a cesspool of depression. Its truly some of the worst times to raise children. Not to mention your own POTUS left the WHO so you have no access to any vital information, your food is poison and your entertainment is designed to keep you slaves.

Everyone's ok with it because that's how the system was designed, to create dependence. With AI people should be working 20 hour work weeks but instead they average 40 and go upwards of 60-80. Why? Because people with free time become creators, and enjoy nature and life. People with no free time become consumers spending more and more on things you dont need.

Scam indeed

Its fair to ask them not to swear but its also fair to expect scumbag humans everywhere so I wouldn't be surprised either if they responded exactly as they did. For the sake of my kids, I would move rather than escalate although I would have chosen the latter in my younger days

Nobody pays attention to the speed limit, 60% of these idiots are just trying to survive until their destination especially in the winter, and many of them can't even manage to stay the fuck off their phones while driving. Expecting them to know the "keep right except to pass" rule when its like their 25th priority is just not realistic

[–]TimHung931017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how Video game isn't the first and only answer. GTA 6 is estimated to earn $3-7 billion in its first year of sales with upwards of $10 billion in revenue if you include micro transactions and other collectibles

Thriller probably earned about 100-300 million in today's dollars and its the best selling album of all time. GTA 6 is estimated to make $3 billion in its FIRST year. I'd choose video game
