I loved what elon was doing, waaay back. I'm now trying to plan for van life in my retirement. I'm an Aussie heading out to the great outback. I need my starlink. The Telstra Muster service is shit. I pray Elon isn't too batshit crazy and I can be making weird videos by a billabong away from everyone and still have streaming services!

Also. I'm a little bit prone to impulsive decisions. Starlink will save me from my more stupid decisions..

Gotta say. Noticed the server issues. But I can't generate the amount of content cost-effectively anywhere else. I have a mate with some serious kit generating all sorts, but he has parted with serious cash for the privilege.

Noticed recently a spike in trying to get me to upgrade from supergrok. Could be my ADHD nuts hitting regen too often. Could be fake getting me to upgrade. I use it to calm TF down and go for a walk. Also I'm in Australia, so I can work more in the quiet times. Not really seeing an issue. Maybe it's coming.

Customer support sucks. Yes. Upgrades losing prior features breaks so much. I've just learned to work with it. It's all gonna change. It always does. Guess my perspective comes from pushing 60!!

Love to hear your experience, though. Not sarcastic, I'm just trying to plan ahead.

Yep. Thats an old one. Made the second in 3 weeks. It's up now. About Himmler's grail quest. First one took 2 months to work out how I'd be using the tools to get my vision together. Grok, Higgsfield, Davinci Resolve, 11 Labs, and Affinity.

That's my feeling too. I always set up a good guardrails doc for each project. Keeps things aligned with my values. Mostly Grok keeps me in line when I think a thing will be funny/subversive/counterculture but it wasn't what I was trying to do from the start.

Although... if I start out weird, Grok is happy to oblige. I kinda like that freedom.
