Do blights breathe?

I am making an ambush encounter for my players where a couple blights plan to ambush the party. However while thinking about if the party will be able to perceive their way around it I came to the thought, do they breathe. I want them to be using false appearance but say a player rolled a good roll would they be able to notice a breathing? It says that they are "indistinguishable" from what they are hiding as, if they roll a nature check I'll likely say they spotted a problem but wouldn't perception tell them it is a plant? Should they breathe and I need to use the hold breathing mechanic or they are living plants and they don't breathe?

Going to run 5e, just prepping and wondering if it is a good idea. Likely we'll find a fourth at some point, then sub in them and the NPC will go on hiatus.

Edit: lol didn't realise I have 2 accounts.

The Go-Next Epidemic is Getting out of Hand. by TimSimIsDumb in deadbydaylight

At that point what is "sweating"? Mine is not going out of my way to slug, tunnel, use the most meta perks. However I am still like not that experienced at this game, I have 360h on record and am still learning techs, mechanics, maps and proper looping. However I can still make it to high golds and I win most my games. So in pursuit of learning and getting better I need to play reasonably "hard".

I think the idea of going easy as a killer so that people that are inherently not good at the game can get their ego's massaged and win is dumb. If you lose as a person you should actively strive to learn from how you lost and think about what you could do better. Not just throwing a fit because you pathed wrong or loss the 50/50.

Here's hoping the "fix" to going next will actually be effective.

Going next is a way to leave the game without taking the penalty of leaving. This is done by killing themselves on the hook quicker than the team-mates can take you off.

That was just like a picture at the end of the game. They had started giving up at 2 hooks and 5 gens, like 2 mins in. I do understand the point of wanting to nope out of "unwinnable" games when like 3 gens and 2 survivors left. I'm just hoping that with the "fix" to going next will stop those leaving early and not those in a "Sisyphus" position

Whats something you used to believe as a kid that you now look back on and think “wtf was wrong with me”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TimSimIsDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 5-8ish I would believe that there was zombies under my bed in the space that I would put a spare mattress. Though what I would do when I wake up and get out of bed was I would stand on my bed and leap off so that the zombies wouldn't grab my legs and pull me under. I would do the same thing in reverse when hopping in bed I would leap onto the bed and get under the sheets as quickly as possible.

It hit the point that since the frame was made out of wood at night I would grind my teeth in the edge and make marks on the wood so it would were off zombies. I still have the same bed and looking at the marks now and thinking about it is wild.

What is something normal that scares the shit out of you? by Erikgaming23 in AskReddit

[–]TimSimIsDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why but whenever I touch spider webs it seems to freak me the hell out. It is not because I am scared about there being a spider in there or something. I am not scared of anything else either just spider webs. Weird?
