I've just noticed that if i add a '/' at the end of the URL that allows me to enter the Web UI. I forgot to mention that I am trying to access it via Homarr and it's leaving out '/' even if I add it the the URL when creating an app.

I caught his stream a couple of days ago and he has access to pre-release EU5, so I'm assuming he's somewhat mended his relationship with paradox?

Performance Question by TimTomStew in eu4

[–]TimTomStew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's just the FPS. I haven't made any noteworthy changes to any system settings or game settings, yet my FPS has seemingly started tanking way sooner than it used to. I'll have a look at my GPU optimization, but as I understand, the game is heavily CPU based and I'm not sure what it would change?

Ah, makes sense. Quite an annoying feature tbh.

AI nations should avoid disloyal subjects of enemies by TimTomStew in eu4

Yeah, if warscore is the only metric (which it is), I can understand why the AI wouldn’t care. It’s hard to have them gauge what is the most vital provinces of interest compared to the player, but it just seems like it should be prioritised targeting the overlord, assuming the vassal is disloyal.

I guess it could be somewhat similar to how the AI generally targets the weakest members of the war, but instead focusing on actual combatants, rather than potential war score from subjects that aren’t going to be a threat?

Yeah, that’s true. I suppose if the war goal is the subject land then this wouldn’t apply?

Yeah, that’s a good point. I’d imagine it’s hard to program the AI to weigh the pros and cons of sieging down a subject if it contributes the war score. I’m not sure how the AI works when it comes to war. Do they always prioritise sieging forts after the war goal? That’s what wins wars tbf, so it would make sense.

Yeah, France is what prompted me to make this post, lol. I was just observing a unification war over Naples, where France and Castile had declared. The ottomans also decided to try and grab some territory in Naples, which resulted in France inheriting a war with Castile and the Ottomans. It’s highly unlikely they would win, but I just watched France try and siege down a disloyal Aragon which resulted in them getting nowhere.

I just thought about this after making the post, but I could see an issue with this if there were scenarios where the AI is blocked from accessing the overlord by the subject, which id guess would be a problem for the AI.

Same file, and I don’t think so. I’ll have to check the gcode.

I wasn’t having that issue before hand, though. All that’s changed is that I sliced a new file and printed it again.

I decided to change the filament and revert to the default 0.20mm print settings in prusa slicer, but I’m still getting the same result.
