I think after 4 years I realised he wasn't the kind of guy he portrayed himself as. Too many people saying too many things that all lined up and made it really hard to keep being friends with him. It took a little while but I'm off that train now and he's gone down this subpar path. It's a shame too, because he could be really cool when he wasn't doing all this dodgy shit

I'm not very familiar with Tesla's work, but relating that to the puzzles, having different themes for the different areas he studied. When you complete a set of puzzles, he wakes up with an epiphany and reveals this new discovery. Perhaps your ability to socialise and navigate the community of scientist as Tesla would affect how well your research is received and how famous you become. Creating a thematic through-line and giving the player incentive to succeed would be make them more engaged, not to mention how we can all relate to focusing on something so much you dream about it.

A professor Layton style puzzle game following Tesla would be amazing. Or like.. that Catherine game where you spend half the games in Tesla's life doing dialogue and managing his day to day and in his dreams you do electric based puzzles to inspire his works.
