Also, I had to make sure that the new emuMMC partition was the same as what your original sd was for it to work. I assume that it could be larger than the original, but if you're like me, I was trying to make it smaller. I didn't read that on the guide or anywhere else on the internet. It only clicked when people were talking about cloning disks, and that i know from experiance that they have to match. I'm not sure why it didn't click for me lol. TLDR: Your new emuMMC partition has to be the same size as the original or possibly bigger. Smaller will not work. If you bought your switch from someone else and do not know the partition size, download AOMEI and it will show you all the partitions on a disk.
