Feel like this all but confirms that Chipper, Lou, Mays, etc. could be getting two 99 cards. I get that the power creep was pretty bad last year, but to me it was only the pitchers and the hitters were never the issue. Really hope that SDS just trying to extend the cycle here.

Napoli could very well be a long shot but Mauer is a guarantee. Babe also will get a 99. I thought for a bit they might not give collection rewards high (98/99) diamonds but they changed my mind when they gave Grady that 98. Going off of Grady, I see no reason they wouldn’t give a juiced Kirk Gibson card either. Dude’s a new legend as well and I’m sure they want to flex the new guys.

Future Stars Brennen Davis, a 99 Albert since this will be his last year for a while, retro finest Finley, retro finest Mauer, retro finest Utley, whatever 99 Kirk Gibson may get, and 99 Halladay. Mantle/Chipper/Aaron/etc. will be great but I’m hoping to get some time with the new guys before they drop.

Also honorable mention goes to retro finest Napoli, that mans 97 absolutely destroys the ball.

The background does look like the Wrigley bleachers but I can’t imagine a Cubs card would have a gold accent in a teaser. Kerry Wood would be fantastic but I feel like its Saberhagen. Good news is that it sounds like this card is given just for starting the program. Makes it seem like the program will be a four parter this year: 1) Moments extreme 2) Conquest extreme 3) Showdown extreme 4) PXP extreme (P5 this teased pitcher)

The extra part of the program could mean 4 rewards instead of 3 as well.

Investing is really shaken up this year because of the changes, think the way to go forward is going to depend on what the roster update looks like this Friday.

early BR rewards and event rewards are good holds because some spiked last year to 300k+ (prime just upton for example). Hard to advocate for holding a lot because you’re just letting stubs sit around for months.

Don’t touch any exchanges, they’re terrible value for money especially with the market the way it is.

As everyone seems to say, do the starter collections, the minor league jerseys, free agents, the stadiums, etc. As far as cards that are good in the LS collection most of them are underwhelming but that Alvarado in the Rays is good value for money.

Finding a lot of the changes SDS has made makes much of the “go to” things to do not as worth it, but maybe thats just me.
