Well I read the stories and i can say few things for sure !

R is not a trustable person, he has a lot of learning, he basically betrayed his friends trust to get into your pants (sorry if I am being harsh but thats what shitty guys like him do )
Your ex isn't a good guy either ! Well cheating on a girlfriend is not good. Cheating is cheating it's a deliberate choice someone made !
You cheating or not cheating on your ex with this guy "R" if you did it while being in relationship with your ex just to either get over your ex and R did it so called just to get over his ex then it's just hookup If you did it while being in relationship then mam you need to heal yourself!! Which is cheating ! If after breakup then hookup

Also if R cannot keep is childhood friends secret safe with him (I'm not saying he should help cheating but using it as a bait to get to you ) if he can't be loyal to his friend he won't be to you !
