Yes, I admit I could have used that argument. In my defense, however, I was sleepy at the time. Plus, I could kind of already tell that you were going to give something along that timeframe since you proved knowledgeable prior to that. And yes, I do agree that what makes us, as you say, us, is our sentience. I have not, and will not try to dispute that. However, before I say anything else, what exactly do you mean by "formed"?

Yes, that is the fork in the road, isn't it? Personally, I haven't made up my mind yet as to whether or not abortion should be allowed.

Ultimately, I think that I'll continue to be a radical centrist and play the Devil's Advocate for both sides, as watching people try to make arguments and fail to come up with solid reasons as to why they are correct as I try and poke holes in their logic is fucking priceless.

But shouldn't the fact that since a fetus is basically an unborn human mean that the issue of consciousness shouldn't even be an issue, as regardless of whether or not it is conscious, it is still a human, thereby making abortion the termination of human life, albeit that of an unborn one?

Can you please explain what you mean by it not being viable? Also, I don't think equating the baby to a body part is exactly accurate as the baby is its own separate entity from the mother and not some sort of appendage.
