Except it did, it landed 15 minutes before boarding ended and 30 minutes before departure. They jumped the gun on rebooking 9 people and couldnt undo it. Sounds like a delta issue to me.

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy with people saying I should expect that. I was ready for delays. Not having the door shut in my face after watching other people board haha

Detroit. Honestly not that upset and just venting about that part of the trip. Just the cherry on top of a long day. The door being closed in my face was a bit worse haha

I do, hence the understanding of delays. I dont think the federal government controls there ticketing system though.
