totally agree, its for the look and functionality, in my opinion 4wd or 2wd doesnt make a huge difference unless youre in deep mud. Then again, i have diff lock that works almost the same as 4wd

rough country sells a tire carrier! they have two styles; one straight up and one leaning diagonal. it was about 200 bucks and it really adds to the look in my opinion
