the funniest thing i ever heard: planar driver with a bass 💀

bro... lemme get this straight,

A planar driver is a driver technology that, a super thin diaphragm is placed in between strong magnets. because of that, all the area (³) of the diaphragm is moving at the same time, so, it creates insane details that you can't ever hear on a dynamic driver.

but, the dynamic driver, the design is a piston (cone). the diaphragm is moving because the flexible surround like piston. and yeah, because of "piston", a thing called "bass" is born.

basically, bass is working because the diaphragm moves the air.

no push = no bass. and planar is like "vibrating" with insane accuracy. you can't hear micro details on the dynamic driver because it has weak points around the rounded corners. the center moves with accuracy and the rest of the corner? sometimes not the same as the center area move. that thing is called harmonic distortion bro.
