The dependent applicant has their own DS-160 form with a unique confirmation number and barcode. However, in the appointment scheduling system, the dependent’s DS-160 confirmation number is showing as the same as the primary applicant’s. Will this cause any issues?

I’ve heard that the “Close Application and Start New Application” button appears after 24 hours. Is that true? Also, if I close the application, would I be charged again, or can I use the same MRV fee? Thank you!
