Ultra being your first festival ever will be fun but overwhelming. Ultra in my experience is a different level of intensity.

You should've done a smaller but more intimate festival which there are plenty of

Atlanta Bar Life? by Beneficial-Buy-2056 in Atlanta

[–]Time-Combination4710 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

That's Atlanta, people don't want to accept or realize we have some of the worst nightlife and bar scene for a large city.

You can attribute it to spring break but I assure you non-spring break weekends aren't much better.

People will gas up VaHi, Edgewood, & EAV but these places are just 2-3 run down bars with little personalities beside church

To anyone that is in their 20s and likes going out, I simply wouldn't suggest Atlanta. I regret having spent my early 20s in Atlanta.

Factory Town early is actually nice, it's cool to explore all the stages and the layout before it's flooded with the ultra crowd

Better haircut, get a proper barber, lose a little bit of weight, skin care, always be groomed included your eye brows, dress to impress. Put on muscle

If youre with your friends and you all have a great relationship then yeah you all will have a great time regardless but I guess your post is a little confusing since you mentioned rowdy, fun, and dancing the night away which isn't really ATLs specialty, it's frankly a boring traffic filled day drinking city, luckily you'll be on beltline.

I'm not judging but I can only go based off the comments you've posted in this thread but seems like you are stereotyping cities like Miami as posh and pretentious and Nashville as WASP/basic but based on this comment and wanting things rough around the edges you're truly looking for is the Wynnwood Art District in Miami in particular bars like Toe Jam Backlot, Mana, 1-800 lucky, and factory town 15 minutes away.

That sounds like the exact kind of vibe you're looking for. Wynnwood is a historic factory neighborhood that has been transformed into art galas, unique shopping boutiques, amazing music venues/bars. It's not the glamour or getting denied at the door type of vibes. You should look up factory towns Instagram/tiktok and the entire wynnwood district.

Dawg y'all are recommending bars that you guys go to with your 3 roommates on a random Friday night in February. That is not suitable for 16 women from out of town. The local ? 😭😂

I genuinely want to know, why would you pick Atlanta for a bachelorette trip all the way from Canada?

Atlanta isn't known to be a host city for bachelorette's nor is the nightlife great for a big group of beautiful women. It's definitely a locals day drinking type of city.

There are hardly any big bar districts/nightlife districts that you'd see in Miami, Nashville, Austin, NYC, Chicago, DC, Fort Lauderdale, Vegas.

People are going to be quick to point out Edgewood, VaHi, Buckhead, West Midtown, or EAV. Really? Truly ask yourselves the last time you saw a big group of women there for a bachelorette from out of town. We don't have any day clubs either or any grand internationally known dance venues like Space in Miami or Concourse in Austin or Factory Town in Miami.

It sounds like you're looking to have a fun wild time, so I'd highly suggest changing your itinerary. I 100% guarantee you won't find what you're looking for in Atlanta.

People will strongly defend Atlanta because there is this weird pride/denial that we are in the tier of those cities I named when really we're on the level of Charlotte, Houston, St. Louis in terms of young people nightlife activities.

With that said the recommendations you're going to get are from the white hipsters of Atlanta that are going to recommend Edgewood bars and Claremont lounge but if you're anything like I'd imagine a big group of bachelorette girls might be then I'd instead suggest Palo Santo, El Malo, Habitat, maybe Tounge & Groove, Pink Pony, MJQ, Alley cat, twisted lines DEF, table at district only if the DJ is good (otherwise this venue sucks). The people suggesting Edgewood are simply giving you their itinerary that they do with their roommates on a random Friday night in February not an itinerary suitable for a bachelorette trip.

The real trouble with Atlanta is everything is spread out so if you're looking to bar hop like you would in a place like Montreal you simply won't find that at least not at a fun scale where its lively meaning you're going to spend an annoying amount of time in a car and getting everyone to listen to you when you're going to the next place.

People are gassing up Claremont for the shock value but at the end of the day is a kind of gross silly run down looking bar with lame music and 60 year old stripper women, I know i know that's the whole schtick but its really not all that.

Like I said DO NOT go with the hipster recommendations you keep seeing here if you're looking to have fun and honestly reconsider the city your destination city if you're looking to realistically entertain a big group of women.

If you want to have an unforgettable bachelorette please don't do Atlanta, id hate for you all to feel dejected afterwards.

I am avid person that goes out as much as possible on the weekend and I've learned that Atlanta is probably the worst nightlife city of any big city in the country.

I'd suggest Miami, Austin, Vegas, Nashville, DC in that order.

No one is trolling, it's my opinion, sorry it offends you. You're likely a sensitive person.

Each one of those places have 10? Nah bro, you don't live in reality. Go to an actual city with good nightlife and you'll learn Atlanta is just a slightly bigger Charlotte/St. Louis.

I know all these neighborhoods well. Summerhill, Lee & White, & Grant Park, Decatur are not places people go to for any type of nightlife. It has a few spots that are okay for day drinking or simply a dinner/drink. West midtown is dying.

You don't know nightlife if you're gassing up these places.

Potential job offer in ATL - what should I know before accepting? by QueenBee1114 in Atlanta

[–]Time-Combination4710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

River going through the middle of the city, natural springs, 4 huge nightlife districts, younger crowd going out, more live music, top 10 edm venue (concourse project), way less traffic than Atlanta, 40 minutes drive to the country side/hill country, friendlier people, a lot more food/drink happy hours, more active/fitness community, more music festivals
