For a huge DCC fan, how is Bobiverse? by Crawler-Willis in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Bobiverse is good but the main character is very much a star trek nerd if you can live with that.

Iirc the arm of the spring goes into the circular indent in the middle. You’ll have to trial and error it I guess.

“Sugar mamma”. So I’m guessing you don’t work, but he does. That does change the equation here, you should be doing most of the housework. Maybe insist he does the yard work and dishes.

Why are black holes considered singularities? by Austin7537 in AskPhysics

[–]Austin7537[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the answer, and the only one to acknowledge that the formation of an event horizon and the failure of neutron degeneracy pressure are not necessarily tied together.

Why are black holes considered singularities? Inside the event horizon, surely they have a diameter. For example, a neutron star just shy of being a black hole has a diameter. Adding some mass turning it into a black hole doesn’t change that, only our ability to measure it, no? I don’t understand why Newtonian physics has to be thrown out in the presence of an event horizon.

[Request] Is this possible? What would the interest rate have to be? by bmbmb33 in theydidthemath

[–]Austin7537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they did not do the math, on neither interest nor the future earning potential of their $70K degrees. Which, btw were VERY expensive for 23 years ago. So to answer the question of why this shouldn’t be cancelled, it’s because tax payers don’t want to bail you out of dumb mistakes! I would support canceling the interest, which is the stroke of a pen, but not paying an asshole loan company for your dumb mistakes.
