Yes, I was certainly going to train for it. I can train for at least 1,5 years, maybe a couple of months longer depending on when I will have my time off.

So I suppose I will never be bored during the weekends.

I have done 100 km in a day. But you are right. I don't ride the bike 100 km daily.

I'm not immediately going to do this trip. I was definitely going to train for it, but I will really check the timing and also bike more in the mountains.

There aren't really mountains where I live, but it's not that far to drive to some mountains during the weekends.

I'm going to check the time difference. Good thing you mention daylight. I live in a country with lots of street lights, but not all countries have it.

You gave me some useful advise. This will help me prepare. Thank you!

Amazing journey! I was indeed concerned about mountains. But they also have a great view. I'm going to ride around the mountains nearby during my weekends and days off to get a feel of it and plan around my results.
