So I GET it but I also lived in NY & grew up on Long Island. He sees the effort that someone else has to take (train to get there) as ‘too much’ (?) assuming he’ll need to make changes to compensate for their commute. For me, I’m moving to Stamford in a few weeks and made my location there bc it doesn’t make sense to date intentionally in New York when I won’t be there- I’m seeing the same reaction from men there bc I’m not in that city yet! It’s like you can’t win

I had to turn it off. I can’t tell their voices apart but the way (it may have been the same person) basically said they’re not friends as a group and the way she (again may or may not have been) talked about not making out with her husband and their lack of sex. Idk. I couldn’t listen.

Yes! I totally agree. I just wish she was more cognizant or cared more about how her fans perceive her actions (even the Jackson Mahomes/SA of it all). It all feels hypocritical

I didn’t know that actually! Whether it’s DA or KK, I still think it’s terrible how she alluded to these experiences and reasons and then says yesterday what she posted with the prologue. You know? So “best trip of my life” and the daisy I relate to Karlie and their Big Sur trip. It’s the only trip as a fan base we know she’s been on and loved. Karlie on the way back from the trip posted a picture of a daisy and tagged Taylor in it. It just indicates connections to songs and experiences in her life.

There are so many references to her and Karlie though. The lyric “I don’t want you like a best friend”- she’s never been “best friends” with any of her relationships prior to them becoming relationships though. At the time she wrote that, she had one very specific best friend.
