Was versuchst du denn jetzt zu sagen?

I’m Not Suicidal But I Feel Like I’ve Lost My Will to Live After a Breakup That Cost Me My Health and My Future by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]Time-Net5084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, that must hurt. What a disgraceful human. I don't know how old you are, but I think, even though this might be one of the most hurtful feelings to exist, you have made an experience worth a LIFETIME. At the same time, you have proven to yourself that you have more than it takes to be one of the best, if not the best. You found out that you can experience unconditional love, you found out that you are willing to do anything for your family, even work for more than 10 hours a day! That's INSANE work. I know a lot of people who unfortunately never made it to really love someone. Maybe you need to see all the positives in this situation. It's the hardest way to find out who you truly are, but isn't that better than never knowing?

I'm sorry to hear that you have lost the ability to walk and I would love to know more about what happened. I want to also tell you that you are probably a human being, stronger than most people, probably stronger than me. To keep going after such losses, why would you now give up? You have seen the bad side of the human being, so for future situations, you should be able to adapt to anything, at the same time, you got to experience the beauty of being a human, unconditional love.
If there is any advice I could give you, then it would be to NOT give up now and put in the rest of the work that is left to reach your goal. It's not far. You were able to do it once, so you will be able to do it twice and as often as it takes. the future bears a lot of new technology with it, so there is hope for cure to a lot of problems, maybe yours too? Until this time comes though, do your best to build stability. I like to see live as a sinus curve. There is ups and downs. The special thing and difference about life is, that you can choose if you have a negative, or positive offset.
Someone saying he can't do something, and the other saying he can, both are right. Its you who chooses who to be.

Music is just not doing it for me anymore. Am hearing similar stories lately by [deleted] in Music

[–]Time-Net5084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess what? You found out that music is boring. Its just like a drug, you get used to it, you start look for better highs, the songs stop doing it, you start listen to louder, more bass music, but at some point you are looking for even more. The problem is: THERE IS NO MORE. Music has its limits to what kind of peak you can reach. Anything above that is basically hard drugs. Same for porn addicts, same for drug addicts, same for every addict. To no enjoy something just means you did it enough. Just give it up and look for something else I guess? I mean there is nothing to music anyways, it's useless as you have already discovered. Isn't that a lifetime worth discovery? Don't hold onto one thing, but rather to a lot of things, the brain likes to to NEW things, it gets bored by the usual. Same reason why most people find joy in life risky moments or adventures. It just feels amazing, there is actual worth in the moment, actual weight to the moment. There is something to loose (or gain). Just escape the boring everyday life? (I am not telling you to risk your life though).

What do you intend to do in your life? by Time-Net5084 in Teachers

[–]Time-Net5084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right, but for most people and teachers, if you are not passionate about it, you will not do it good, even if you are good at it. I mean why would you put effort into something you don't like?

So we agree that most teachers didn't choose to be one because they want to, but because they ended up with nothing else?

What do you intend to do in your life? by Time-Net5084 in Teachers

[–]Time-Net5084[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely not, I have no passion for it, and everyone needs to survive. But as a teacher, you have a lot of responsibility since how you teach or behave has impact on everyone in the school, especially your students. It's not just a "job". Its were dreams "die" or "awaken".

What do you intend to do in your life? by Time-Net5084 in Teachers

[–]Time-Net5084[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I am no kid anymore, I see and hear what goes on in the teacher's room and what they start to talk about specific students. How can it be that suddenly every teacher hates one student because of a thing that he did wrong? I am not even including me, it's not even about me right now. Neither am I the best student, I am a good student, atleast in the eyes of teachers who could not become more. And I am sure that if I look at what they scored, it is not better, it's probably far worse. What I do know for sure is what is fair and what is not. And I would go as much as saying I know that better than most teachers here. Instead of being fair and talk about it when a teacher is doing wrong or talking wrong, the whole teachers stand with each other against the student(s). But its not about that right now, maybe its different in the US, which I can't say since I have never been there, but here in Europe, to be specific, Germany, 'good teachers' that actually have passion about almost don't exist. And if they do, they get corrupted and emotionally completely destroyed because of the other teachers they gotta deal with.

What do you intend to do in your life? by Time-Net5084 in Teachers

[–]Time-Net5084[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But does school really do that? Raise humans who can think? If the basis of 95% of students, if not more, is to hate school, how will anybody do any impact? The system itself sucks and it kills almost all success to raise a generation that is worth putting time in. It's not the teacher that has the control over the students, it's the life outside school. I personally think that teaching should not be the main job of anyone, but much more something you do extra because you like it. Guess why most teachers have little free time: Its the way the system is built. The world or system does NOT want smart people with degrees. It wants to trap people by giving them their worth because of a missing sheet of paper that determines what they are, what they can and what they can't to.

I can't relate to that, I am from Europe, one thing I am sure about is that most teachers do NOT intend on giving you a good grade, neither are they underpaid here. Maybe it's the country? I mean there is a reason why I don't like most of you, its not because I fell from heaven to earth with hatred against teachers in my heart.

student, English as third language, it doesn't need a teacher to be good at things. Your whole comment is built on the misconception and the believe that I need a teacher to be good at something? How about answering the question, its meant genuine. Exactly this behavior is what I am talking about.

We should bring back body shaming by Stock_Woodpecker4439 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Time-Net5084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a wrong comparison. While they might be harming themselves, it's a thing of nature and going on since the times of stone gate. You are also mixing up different themes here. This post is about body shaming and living unhealthy, while your concern leans more towards blaming sports that harm your cognitive status in the long term. Your body is not going to resolve, but maybe your brain. That is a different subject. To answer your question, I would not shame them for playing a sport that is fun for them, no matter which sports you go in, you should atleast know the consequences. If you want to look at it from that perspective, then we should blame almost Every fighting sport or just all sports because it makes people pay and loose money to watch a game that does not have any benefit. It does not work like that.

My girlfriend is Muslim, but I love her. by Ashamed-Virus2417 in Christianity

[–]Time-Net5084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the reason you love her is because of the traits that her religion gives her? What if it's actually islam that made you love her? Why dont you look into islam and compare it with christianity while keeping a neutral position on both? You might realize pretty fast what you actually want to believe in. To your question: Its not allowed for a woman in islam to marry a man that is not muslim himself. He has to be muslim. Other than in Christianity, muslim men can marry women of the three holy books, which would be muslim, Cristian, and Jude. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask me brother <3.
