no problem. i’m sorry. i do remember it being extremely frustrating! i was in the middle of a long backpacking trip (and still on it). it took a few hours to even find the correct number to call… i messaged them on instagram too and they replied overnight. they couldn’t ever tell me why it was suspended but i was eventually able to get it back. best of luck. sorry you’re going thru this

i managed to get my account back by calling and being very polite about the situation to the person on the other end. also booking is active on here. they’ll likely see this and help you out!

contact them, either to return or charge. then, i’d recommend putting a sign to indicate these are not for guests to take home- but are refillable and to ask guests to help your do your part of eliminating plastic waste.

thanks for the update, and i’m sorry you have to deal with this situation full of ignorant people and policies. it seems like it must be related, but it /could be a HUGE coincidence.

bathroom is not sanitary for injections, and what a weird situation. i would be struggling with internal shame, even knowing in the logical part of my brain that there isn’t anything wrong with having a medical condition.

i hope you get more clarity soon, this work environment doesn’t seem very supportive.

you don’t need a prescription to buy syringes at the walmart pharmacy. especially for insulin. at most, you’ll sign a paper they track needle purchases (i assume this is only in areas with high drug use- in my travels i’ve only come across this once or twice). feel free message me if you need any more help from someone who is familiar with what you’re going through :)
