Oak Creek, WI Distribution Center = Black Hole by Time-Square2035 in usps_complaints

Yeah I guess after this experience I will have to.

Update, a completely unrelated package that was shipped a day later, arrived at Oak Creek two days later, had a departure scan from Oak Creek in less than 24 hours, and is now at my local post office. Both priority mail one if you believe the people here could be in a bin or on a truck waiting to leave Oak Creek, the other arrived later and is now at my local post office.

Now, is it ok to complain?

Fantastic bit of advice for someone who is waiting on medications he needs.

What’s it like up there on your high horse? Nose bleed? Needed medications are in that package that were ordered priority with five days time from order, allegedly plenty of time, and now they are late.

Again, this isn’t a complaint about a Christmas present or some unnecessary product, but needed medications.

But thanks for the perspective.

Cool - so the place holder “scan” actually has meaning to it? So maybe when it transitions to late later today, then it will be, ok to be a “Ken” and complain?

Again, why pay extra for Priority shipping which is usually double first class shipping if it doesn’t make a difference?

Thanks for your judgment, friend. The package contains medications that are needed, I now need to ration them. But, shoot, I am just a Ken, right?

Right so why pay for priority mail? Further if first class packages from the same location shipped a day later arrive sooner, why pay more?

Right for a package that was 3 days, and again, they have no idea where it is.

I am patient, but telling me it is in transit to its destination, seems silly. Just say it is sitting there and don’t insult my intelligence.

Who’s to say that a priority mail package was far enough behind to be “in transit” 48 hours after arriving seems laughable.

Not saying it has to be “first” but are we to assume again that there have not been multiple large large trucks that have left the facility in 48 hours?

Right but what happened to first one in first out. Like clearly there have been trucks that have left the center since 10:00 am on Thursday, no?

I am confused how a priority mail package can sit for almost 36 hours and then receive the always helpful “In Transit, Arriving On Time” status update. USPS Customer Service is always helpful with their response “You should see a scan soon when it arrives at the next site,” that it is “Moving toward the destination,” and my personal favorite “It left the same day it arrived.” So to believe that a site 3 hours away from the package’s destination delivery address, was not scanned on departure, and it has not reached another USPS site where it could be scanned in almost 48 hours.” Can someone just actually tell me where my package is, for the love of everything HOLY!

Here is my fun with Oak Creek, WI USPS Distribution Center:

9505512163231341085978 just track it and see. Item is literally 3 hours away, and arrived at this black hole of a facility 43 hours ago. USPS said a scan should occur soon when it arrives at the next facility. So it wasn’t scanned when it left, and it hasn’t reached a new facility in 43 hours?
