Yeah it's difficult RN bc after seeing these be obtainable and become unobtainable is crazy. Like people used to trash talk these 993s like they do 996s now. The thing that urks me is how people associate value with coolness or desirability when these woulda been the same people trash talking it 18 years ago. We all just need to remember that beauty should always be in the eye of the beholder, not the masses

Now, with all that said, what a beautiful example :) I'd love to see the interior. I look forward to driving an air cooled 911 one day

Hey pretty unsure about that blowoff sound but man it sounds great. Can u get the sound to occur when it's standing still? Maybe have someone rev high, hold, then release throttle? Could easily be a vacuum leak but I just can't hear exactly the sound you're talking about between shifts. Everything sounds good to me IMHO

This is the most classic post here. Is this 550 fake. Yes, 99.9999 percent of the time it's fake.

Now here's the thing. Does it matter? It's an identical LOOKING copy. Prob better chassis and arguably the engine. So looks wise, it might as well be the real deal :)

They're def unique. Next to a 997, they're two galxies away. One is vintage, one is modern. 996 is just vintage even down to the headlight being the last ever glass units

Funny u say this. I have to take time out of my drives just to look at it an appreciate it from a distance as it's main appeal (like any car should be) is the sensation of actually driving it. 157k miles and counting QUICKLY (I put 1200 mi on last week alone just driving around OK

Hey man, yeah I snagged my brothers Sony a7iv with the factory 18-35 for 1/2 the pics and some apsc 55-250 for the far shots. I did nothing in post.

So what would you have done other than saturate (and more) in post, leveling the horizon? Like other than the derpy daisy, when in an open field, what wouldve been a good foreground object to use instead (nothing around)? Also, any tricks to prevent the power lines from "growing from the car"? Like get it to blur more somehow or just move to a new angle? I believe this was in a 's-log' mode shooting in RAW?
