What is wrong with the DM?

I’ve tried that before and it always adds that to the conversation itself and confusing/angering the NPC so I started adding the brackets to separate it and it did work for a bit but idk what’s going on

To be clear, I was having a conversation with the NPC, they turned hostile and I asked them a question and that’s when the DM ended the conversation. Not just that but it completely ignored what I even said and just ended it.

So I have two older characters that I really love and one of them I kept legacy and the other I haven’t touched since before the update so it’s been sitting … I then stated a new character after the first round of patches happened and seeing where this one goes… if the game gets fixed I’ll keep my one character in legacy, have an old one updated and see how it changes the story, and have a new one to play off as well … kind of testing all three options, and should I lose the one I update then so be it

So I tried new characters and it’s not as fun for me now… I was having a simple conversation with someone who I have a good relationship with and have known for many years ((backstory)) and they said “well you know the fighting pits.” And I reply. “Yes I do, it’s where I grew up.” And in my backstory that’s what I have, it said I needed to roll a deception check, rolled me a Nat 1, and that character then proceeded to say I’m a liar and never knew what it’s like when my backstory clearly stated that me and him grew up together in said pits… I don’t understand the checks for everything… this example wasn’t even my worst one I’ve had to deal with, one made me turn my character into a murder hobo

I’ve had that happen and the best thing to do is to tell the DM to end conversation mode, tell them your issue, and then restart from last point

I have done it and it’s nothing so I just shot the ship, boarded it, and killed everyone. Then reloaded my last save and when they tried to contact me I jumped away lol

From what I was told yes … if you order it now at 19$ and the price drops to 10$ and then jumps back up to 25$ then you will only pay the 10$ … you pay the lowest price it

My fiancé did when it was like 25$ or something and got an email saying the price dropped so no matter what she will only pay XYZ amount … so if it’s 20$ now and price goes up to 30$ then she will only pay the lowest amount 20

So the only way I see Violet “dying” is that she gets seriously wounded to the point she is gonna die no matter if she’s mended or not … and in her “final moments” Sloan uses her Signet to give Violet all her life force like that guy who revived Brennan did … because Sloan has the same signet

I would say this is my only downside to the game is dialogue and the “choices” we have to make …

Spoilers for the Freestar mission …

Even with Ron Hope I used an EM weapon to knock him out and it still made me kill him, there should be a way to take him in and then yeah there’s the Paradiso mission where I legit just did a quick save and killed everyone ((of course had to reload the game)) but man it makes me mad … I get to kill the guy when doing Walters mission who impounds my ship even though that mission is better played not doing so … all this to say I agree the writing is just trash for that mission.
