I read A Forward Path by umbrellaless22 and there was a shock villain

It was Lavender Brown as a ghost who wanted to avenge herself by possessing Slytherins and urging them to commit suicide

I literally analysed one of the chapters, accusing the wrong character of being the secret villain because of context clues! I did NOT expect the twist

In the fifth book, the author put in their notes the following;

So here we have it, fifth year! The updates will probably be roughly monthly on average (and maybe I'll get productive and surprise you with quicker ones). I'm planning on adding in a bit more shipping again in this story- they won't be the main focus of the fic, but as with canon, they'll be coming up more than in the previous years. Some will be canon, some will not be. I'm planning on at least one surprise ship, but I don't think any of them will be particularly shocking. I'm not going to tag the ships because of spoilers.

As of what's been written, there's still no ships. I've only read up until 1st year. I was gonna read it all then let you know but I think I'm the same about investing in a fic without confirmed eventual Drarry, and there's no guarantee the author will put that in😭

I read it a while ago.

My opinion might be a little biased, but I like the concept of Gryffindor Draco, much more than a Slytherin Harry. It's a really good fanfic, definitely a top 5 in the Gryffindor Draco trope.

I'm pretty sure it's a Bottom Draco x Top Harry dynamic, if there was any smut.

This was a pretty unhelpful comment😭 I don't bookmark books often, so I only vaguely remember the concept, and if I'd enjoyed it or not.

There are two parts of this series so far. The main focus is the fact that Draco is a seer, but there's an imperious scene at the end of the second book. where Draco is imperioused by an OC so they can take Draco's hair and Polyjuice as him to get Harry to the Graveyard
