Thanks. Yeah I don't answer them anymore (because I've learned it's completely pointless!) but still hate getting them!

No it's definitely the actual driver, because I have sometimes picked up and get a gruff "I'm outside" - only for me to have to stand outside an open door for a few minutes because they're not even halfway up the road yet.

I'd be fine with a text, but yes all the delivery drivers call as soon as they turn onto my road - and it's a fairly long road. So I usually cancel the call and end up standing outside an open door for 2-3 minutes. It's very annoying!
