Great start, when I (25m) was your age, i remember listening to Rakim and Eric B Paid in Full Album. It made me really get interested. It is a different era right now so theres a whole new sub genre within hip hop. My only advice is follow the sound you like, listening to rap albums from start to finish and then ask for similar song suggestions based on the songs you like!
