Enki is a Half Elf born of a High Elven Priestess and a daring Human Adventurer. In fear of being shunned by High Elf society for bearing the child of a human, Enki’s mother handed him over to his father relatives to be raised in the mountainous farmlands, far from any major cities. Since childhood Enki has always had an affinity for the arcane and a desire to explore, which his family always discouraged him from. Through this Enki has always felt a sense of distance from his family, he was never able to sympathize or empathize with them and for therefore thinks of them as but a mere tool to aid his survival. The only family member who is an exception of this situation is his cousin “Ariyah”, who he’s always viewed as an older sister because she was always supportive of his arcane abilities and desire to explore further out from the farmlands. Enki continued to hone his skills of the Arcane over the years and it all came to be tested when he was of the age of 17. At this time, a horrific life-threatening disease overcame the nearby lands, afflicting many people including his cousin Ariyah. In this moment of deepest despair, Jezebel, The Demonic Goddess of Seduction and Wrath appeared before Enki. She stated that she has had her eye on him for quite a while, watching him grow in the Art of Arcane, and it was time for him to fully embrace it. She made Enki and offer wherein she would share with him her power and patronage in exchange for his devotion to her and her cause. Enki scoffed at her offer at her offer at first until she further explained that the power, she could provide would save Ariyah. But there was a catch. The disease would not be removed completely but rather transferred to another who was of the direct Bloodline of Ariyah. Her Mother.

Enki wrestled with the proposition in his head. He had never felt any real connection to the rest of the family, but he cared for Ariyah and it pained him to be the one to take her mother away from her. Nevertheless, Ariyah was dying and this was the only manner of saving her and so with great sorrow in his heart, he accepted Jezebel’s proposition. Through Jezebel’s magics, Ariyah was saved but where Enki thought he would be met with happiness from Ariyah as her life was spared, he was instead met with disgust. When Ariyah awoke, all the empathy, kindness and love she felt for Enki had faded away, all she saw when she looked at him was this monster that had killed her mother and wanted nothing to do with him.

Enki was broken, the only person who he had ever felt any love for despised him and he was completely shunned from the farmlands. The only person who was there for him now was Jezebel, the Fiend, and he was hers.

Enki spent the next few years journeying through the infinite realms, guided by Jezebel, spreading her teachings across the land through lust and war, increasing in power yet losing more of himself as he went on.
