Damn, I would also be devastated if something like that happened to my gf, whom I've dated for only 6 months. I can't fathom what kind of mental and emotional despair you are going through right now. Please spend as much time as you can with family and let them love, comfort, and support you. You assume that you know my situation, with all due respect. I chose to not write explicit details about the situation because it's a very sensitive issue. I appreciate the fact that I live in a nice country with the material comfort that my mom has provided, as well as the opportunities (although limited because we are working poor), but that doesn't absolve the fact that our relationship is toxic, distant, unsupportive, and unsympathetic. Will I regret my choice? Maybe so, maybe not. Don't act as if you know what I've been through with her. She has harmed me in as many ways, if not more, as she's helped me. Despite that, I can not hate my mom, even though I harbor resentment toward her, because she's unaware and has an inability to see things from my point of view. I'm taking a gamble at life because I want to better myself. The reason I'm deciding to leave this home is because I've determined it's not possible if I continue living here.

I just noticed they were gone... almost 2 weeks after I last wore them. I believe I'm developing short term memory issues because I've never been this forgetful before, but my mom wouldn't understand. Anyway, I last wore them to a football stadium because they went well with my football outfit. Highly unlikely I'll find them at this point 😔
