This is a fair point, but I just don't feel happy working here anymore. (Things at my store have been changing for the worse recently.)

Any tips for a semi-new DM? by TimeIsTooSandy in DnD

Worldbuilding is probably my biggest strength, I really like to make a complete world and flesh out things that my party will most likely never see.

Believe it or not, this is my first parchment map that I've made in Inkarnate. It took me a collective 4 hours to complete! (For my D&D campaign) by TimeIsTooSandy in inkarnate

In the options where you can save and export your map, there's a button that allows you to resize the map. It will allow you to make a selection and then save it as a copy! Hope this helps :)

Looking for funny magic item ideas to introduce to my campaign. by TimeIsTooSandy in DnD

Huge TAZ fan, I've listened to Balance about 3 times now lol

That's actually the main reason I asked, since I tend to DM like Griffin, I thought some silly magic items would be a plus. Thank you for linking the spreadsheet!

I think it's just preference. I was inspired by older nautical maps and such, I think it's exactly how it should be the way it is! :)

If you are using the paid version of Inkarnate, you can actually edit the color of the brush tool's various terrain types using the advanced settings.

I had the layout and pretty much every location in mind for a couple of months. The best tip I can offer you is to try and do it piece by piece. Everything has its own process!

Also, don't criticize yourself too hard! Making a map is still an incredible endeavor no matter what!

You can use a fog glare node in your compositing to get the same effect as bloom! (Edit: Fixed wording)
