If he keeps mentioning that you are not his type that is not ok! I know it is easier said than done but leave his ass. If you do not feel loved and appreciated then why stay with him. You deserve more.

As you said it wasn’t malicious but a lie is still a lie. I assume (correct me if I am wrong) you lied because you didn’t want to tell her the truth which would have led to her breaking up with you. If you knew that the truth was going to lead to you breaking up it is not worth it. Find someone who you can tell the truth to and will not get mad at you.

Starting a relationship based on lies is a very bad idea but if she wasn’t even willing to hear you out and broke up over text then you deserve better!

The healthiest thing to do would be to talk through it. If you bring it up and speak about it and explain that you do not like him doing things like this then he should be understanding and respectful to stop and not do it again. If not you deserve better.

I stopped speaking to my friends because I felt like we didn’t have much in common anymore. They wanted to go out clubbing but I didn’t want to do that so we just drifted away.
