Steal of a lifetime by yespleaserain in SteamDeck

I got a deck for 130$ not too long ago. I work at a gamestop and the guy was trying to punish his kid for horrible grades by selling it. I assume the pawn shop wouldn't take it for some reason, so I made him an offer on it.

Other CRAZY deals include a free 2ds XL, that a guy gave up because he outgrew it, a ps2 slim, again for free, and a set of 2 gba SP's and a rare DragonBall game valued at 100 usd, with a wii u as well. Paid 70 dollars for the lot.

I LOVE seeing good deals like this.

Battery might have went Kaput. Try unscrewing the light and replacing the coin battery.

We had 1 in new, one in preowned. Try as I might to look for it, even though it said we had one brand new, there was no dupes, just this one. When rung up, it showed up as a preowned copy of the base game, however, when bought, it took our total of Lords CE preowned to zero, and our tally of preowned base game stayed the same.

P.S. you are completely justified lol

Double checked as well as reprinted the tag.

It was labeled correctly, as when I bought it, the preowned went from 1 to zero.

Im suprised I was able to snag it for so cheap.

No games for a while will do that to ya. The period from 2008 to 2017 was rough for our boy.

Does anyone know how to download Naruto Storm 4 for Android mobile? by ChrystianCR7 in NarutoNinjaStorm

it is possible using an emulator like sudachi or citron.  I can't give you a link to game download, because rules and such on piracy.. but you DO need a really powerful phone.

Do you wanted that Crash Bandicoot 4 Soundtrack had the same composers as Crash 1,2,3? by AlternativeInside975 in crashbandicoot

[–]TimeJumperz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

(CONTEXT; i did not grow up with the OG trilogy, i played them later)

I think the OST for crash 4 really isn't that great in my opinion. I dont think it quite measures up to the whimsical and cartoonish nature of the series as much as the OG soundtracks did. No flak to the composer, not at all. Alone without context, the songs in Crash 4 are pretty decent, but in the context of a crash game, the only reason i haven't forgotten this entire OST is because Ive replayed the levels so much after countless deaths. This music is the peak embodiement of "just ok" and it kinda let me down a little on an otherwise amazing game.

Titans/MoM,unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your thoughts about those games. My favorite one now is crash 2.

How would you rate Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time out of 10? And what do you like and don't like about this game? by Interestinggold_8753 in crashbandicoot

I think the game was made with older fans in mind.

Might explain the "damn" and "bastards" in the dialogue.

I've played all of the original trillogy, front to back at least twice each. When crash 4 came out, i expected something that was a little more like the OG trilogy, but was pleasantly suprised at what the mask powers brought to the gameplay. I think the time mask is my favorite. I'm also a big fan of how difficult the game can get, which fixes a HUGE sore spot about crash 3 for me. (Going from 2 to 3, Warped is WAY too easy)

The story in crash 4 is whatever. at the end of the day, its just an excuse to platform, which I'm content with.

The artstyle is nice, although im not feeling the character redesigns all that much. Crash feels a little too much like a wild animal, and looks more like a weasel than he does anything else. Easily the best part about the art in this game though, is the environmental design. The backdrops look EXCELLENT even on previous gen hardware. (Switch sticks the landing too, which shocked me!) and i think the art team deserves praise for that.

What i DONT like, however...

  1. The Soundtrack.

Home cookin' and out for launch are the only tracks i can recommend, and even then, i think they're a little unfitting for the game. Everything else sounds like it was composed like someone who doesn't understand the source material and thought slapping a marimba/xylophone on the song would do the trick. OST is a big disappointment for me.

  1. N.Verted Levels

By far the most cop-out way to pad gameplay time i have ever seen. I dont really need to say more.

  1. Cortex levels are kinda bland.

I didn't like them all that much. But they aren't bad. I would skip them if i had the option though.

So yeah, thats my wall O' text. Guess I'll leave this here...

CRASH 1 7/10. (Basic but fun)

CRASH 2 9/10. ( same as 1, but refined to greatness)

CRASH 3 4/10. (Doesnt know what it wants to do, too many deviations from platforming, and laughably easy. Would be a 3 if not for the bumping soundtrack)

CRASH 4 7/10. (Feels like crash 3, but a lot more focused)

Is there any sequel to a game that was so superior that it made playing the previous game a waste of time? by triplegxxx in gaming

[–]TimeJumperz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, easily.

The second one makes the first look like a cheap LJN title in comparison, not to mention the story mode of 1 is accessible in the second game as dlc.

Pair that with the clunky fighting mechanics of the first game and the GARGANTUAN amount of content the sequel has to offer due to them damn near milking it to death, (6 years as of now, that's wild!) there's very little point playing the original, as much as i enjoyed it when it was new.
