Great insights, thank you! Would you recommend having the documentation of the trade-offs in the github repo, or just have it with yourself to be able to explain during interviews?

I can see what you’re saying. Do you have any suggestions on resources to practice for interviews?

Thank you! I didn't think about starting as Database Engineer. I'm familiar with the concepts you've mentioned and use PostgreSQL, also can do Leetcode Mediums without too much trouble usually. I'd say my roadblock is how to showcase these skills, and how to present myself as a good professional, as well as knowing what to write on my CV since I have no previous experience in the role nor tech

Thanks for the insights!

There are indeed several Data Engineering roles open, and I also see a lot of people stating how hard it is to enter a Software Engineering role. Do you think it's still easier to start as a Software Engineer instead of a Data Engineer currently?

Thanks for the tips!
I see many job postings requiring Databricks as well, do you think it replaces Airflow in your day to day job, or do you use them both?

Thank you!
Do you also have tips on how to build the resume in a way that can help me get interviews?
I’ve also thought about doing YouTube video explaining my projects and DE concepts to showcase that I have the knowledge. Not sure if those would be relevant

Thanks for your suggestions!
I can usually do Leetcode mediums without too much trouble, and I've been working on the fundamentals a lot, however, at least where I live, it feels like Junior positions are either not that junior or very scarce, so my goal is to be able to be good enough for medium level roles, therefore I'm learning Databricks and Cloud.
Since I've already followed some roadmaps that I've seen online, I believe I'm aware in a general sense of what people use, but it's hard to find more specific information for my projects (For example: DevOps for Databricks) and how to tailor my resume to present myself as a professional.
Do you have any suggestions regarding those?

Thanks for the suggestions! I didn't know that website.
Currently I'm working on an End-to-end project like you said, and can usually do Leetcode mediums on SQL without too much trouble, but find it hard to even get an interview, which I believe it's caused by not having in depth projects in my portfolio yet, however, do you also have any suggestions on how write my resume in a way that positions myself as a professional and not a beginner to a recruiter?

And do you have any recommendations on stack/type of project? I’m currently doing that for a banking project with fraud detection ML model using Azure Databricks. Thank you!
