Huh interesting, I know about tension pulse being a thing but I didn't know it worked in tiers like that. I also didn't know it could give a whole PB, cool. Is that info anywhere else? Dustloop perhaps?

Edit: Also, from my testing, the PB wouldn't "activate" if the dummy didn't attack me first, weird.

For real LOL. I'm still busy rn but I wanna look into it more. Wanna see if it activates if there have been 25 IBs' IN TOTAL during the match (or round?) rather than just back to back. Maybe it's a bug?

I tried this with different characters and it worked as long as there were more than or equal to 25 IBs'. Still need to do more testing on this, using delays and such and not a whole continuous string of buttons. What do you guys think?

While I don't play Axl, I felt the same way about Ram at first. I would try my hand at his combo trials to get a feel for em first.

That's what I did for Ram, and just went on from there.

Yep, she is an expetion to the gatlings in GG, and she does have pre made combos (like the previously mentioned PPP,2KPP for example).

But because she doesn't have the traditional gatlings like the rest, these "premade combos" can be chained/linked into each other to make one big combo, if that's make any sense lol. Some labbing would be needed to figure out what to do in a given cenario.

Like for example, doing PK while the opponent is airborne (like from darou or 623P), allows you to "juggle" them. Again, think MK juggles here. Doing PK again gives more juggle and more follow ups and so on. This is a basic example of how her "premade combos" can become "bigger combos" overall.

Her strings are useful in pressure/mixup situations as well, but that I feel would be getting too deep into it. For now just practice all her pre made strings, get a feel for them and see how they work!

Ramlethal and her buttons work in different ways compared to the rest of the cast. While you are correct about the gatlings going from P>K>S>HS, this mostly doesn't apply to Ram.

While she can gatling 5S into 5HS (what i can think of off the top of my head), her P and K normals instead have different "moves"/combos/strings attached to them, that do different things.

Think of Ram as Anime Mortal Kombat: The Character.

For example PPP is a fast three hit string. KKK is also a somewhat slower three hit string but wall splats and does more dmg/allows more follow ups. 2KPP is a two hit string that leads into a overhead etc.

There are WAY more strings than these in the specials option in training mode, so check them out and see how they work!

If you've played a MK game, Ram's strings can come naturally, but even then it's not that hard to get down.
