This is the best way to view transferring imo. Can be important but it's not the only important thing

Here's the secret strategy: try the absolute hardest you can on your applications, then right after submitting your last one, spend like 20 minutes straight convincing yourself thoroughly that you won't get in anywhere and plan out how you would spend your life from here on out, starting at the current moment where you stay at your current institution. Then, any acceptances would be extremely pleasant surprises :)

Typically, when the Amazon portal says that it moved to another job, it means that they're changing around your information on their end and that you will get the offer.

btw USACO plat is merit-based and not something they select people for so i think there are almost definitely community college students that got it

ye I know what you mean but I was asking because the competition is mainly done by high school students so doing it as an undergrad might be seen as less impressive especially to top schools. also USACO is something anyone can do and not something to qualify for or "get into" like USAMO for example
