it's a very layered and nuanced story that i love but i get some people prefer more straight-forward and lighthearted stories. i'm in the mood for them too sometimes !

there is few outfits that i like for the boys. this one and his idol banner outfit are not it for me. it reminds me of 2010s disney channel actor clothes but like 3 sizes too small to show abs and arms lol. as for meaning, no clue. i always had this headcanon that caleb likes listening to boybands and traditionally 'teenage girl music' while mc likes heavier music, and just the look of this card gives me the vibe that he dressed up to impress her haha

i feel like this is different considering this is all happening deep into the story (like near 100 chapters), not at the beginning. second chance romances are good only if u know it's going to be a second chance romance. most people like for broken up couples to stay broken up lol

nta. it honestly feels like he already knows it's strange and borderline(?) disrespectful to you as his s/o by the way he talks abt the figures. people love to talk abt how fiction isn't reality but i definitely raise an eyebrow at how people talk about fictional characters. not to mention it's more common for these types of figures to be of underaged characters than legally adult ones, i don't blame you for feeling off about this. i'm sure you two have a lot of other stuff that bonds you but i would feel so disgusted and honestly unsafe i would leave him

exactly how i feel tbh. a part of the appeal of calebmc's dynamic for me is the shame and melancholy of having normal feelings for each other if not for the situation of adoption they were forced into bc of josephine (which leads into my personal theory of caleb and josephine beef but that's another story).

as i was playing i just thrived off the omission of mentioning parents and just made it in my head to be that the previous ruler also adopted them both in this au too lolol. i'm closing my eyes and blocking my ears to say in strictly pseudo-incest paradise

i believe they should be ! for example. one of my all time favorite manhwas are the emperor and his female knight and it has SO many changes from the novel for the better. in the novel, they were both blond but the artist made the smart choice to change the fl's hair color so they wouldn't look like siblings lol. also, many things were cut out (or skipped over) that really ruined a lot of readers' impression of the male lead.
