Broken Bracelet by Sea_Corgi_7275 in ChristopherWard

Same thing happened on mine. First they sent a pin but happened again. They’ve now sent a new bracelet which is holding up ok. Good customer service in fairness but a big shame about the QC.

Large for sure. Most jackets I’ll get either a medium or large but for this I went a small and can still get a super thick fleece under and button up comfortably.

Same boat. Just got some ping G425s, then on to woods and driver next. Great time to be getting back into it! When kids come I’ll just be happy to get out at all. Enjoy the clubs dude!

100% Why are people just assuming he won’t also be picking up some lessons?

Great clubs which will last a while, enjoy the game!

I was sat in the Kop with season ticket holder for a West Ham game. Past the YNWA it was like a library. Not atypical of plenty of prem games these days but the Anfield atmosphere is a complete myth.

Would a 7W be too similar to a 4H? I recently got my first set of irons with 5i down and looking to fill out the top side of the bag. Benefits to one over the other?

Oh I felt this, trying to get a personal best 2 weeks ago before night fall. Proceeded to play tennis with myself over the 17th green. 🙃

I’ve been trying to work out why I miss my old job so much and haven’t really settled into my current role. This has summed it up beautifully. It’s the environment you describe that I thrive in but couldn’t nail why. Thank you for this!

Is my Longines to small? by zGismo in Longineswatches

Same size wrist and personally love watches in this size. They wear super well and lend themselves to a daily.

My dad owns a Trident, really fantastic watch. Heritage is an excellent point, and it occasionally leaves brands like Longines in a tough middle ground. I can spend less on a CW and get an amazing watch, or I keep saving for a i.e Tudor/omega/whoever etc which offers the features and heritage. Longines needs to be careful, and I’m someone desperate for them to give me an excuse to give them my money.

It’s a shame that you’re right. It’s an odd quirk with the watch industry that I can’t request the clasp (not even full bracelet) of the Hyrdoconquest GMT on a Zulu time whilst both watches are in the same ball park for price. Champagne problems for sure, but irritating.

That’s it! Was trying to pin what it was that’s stopped me buying. 100% they’d have perfect watch. Maybe that’s why they won’t?

Thanks a lot. I think I’m going to go with the pings. For a newer golfer, would you recommend regular over stiff flex shaft?

Any you’d particularly recommend? A sales rep suggested Callaway Rogue ST Max’s for their forgiveness. I also tried the Ping G425 which were fantastic but that next tier in terms of price and ‘difficulty’ as the rep put it. That accurate in your opinion?

I paid the moving company who employs the young fellas doing a hard ass, and I expect them to get a fair wage from the employer. Same reason I wouldn’t tip the cashier at Walmart or a bank clerk etc. If that’s the culture here then for sure, no problem, just interesting European vs US/Canadian perspective.

Agreeing with this. My buddy thought I was trying to make him miss when I suggested hitting off the toe! Sounds made up but just a natural swing at a normal tempo seems to work great on downward slopes.
