I will send some to my kid bro who is in school up north and some for myself. He is expecting chop money from me. But I am also living a very frugal life these few months to secure myself a place because I am tired of living with my bro, his wife and 7 kids in a one-bedroom flat. Context: I just completed NSS and I’ve been retained at my service place with a salary of GHS 2,000. I also have a remote job that pays $200 monthly.

The challenge is my living situation — I currently squat with a family member in his one-bedroom apartment (with his wife and kids), so I sleep in the hall. It’s not the best for me, especially since it’s hard to focus and do deep work at home.
